It is located about twelve miles from the island of Lanzarote, has a total area of 0.7 square kilometers and its highest point reaches 84 meters. Among Roque del Este and Lanzarote is located one of the greatest depths reaching the continental shelf on which is in Chinijo Archipelago, with a peak of around 200 meters deep maximum. This is where one can see a large rock platform where abound veriles and striking underwater ledges, in addition to the impressive tunnel that crosses Roque del Este. Its surface has volcanic does not prevent some plant species in the island.

This is a Integral reserve..so I had to get permitions from local goverment to dive there. (small resume of two dives)
