We recommend encoding out (FLASH) flv clips with a resolution size of 480//270, CBR 500-700kbps, 16.9 aspect ratio. For 4.3 clips, place then in a 16.9 timeline and encode them out as 480/270 16.9 aspect ratio or else they will be stretched to fill the 16.9 players screen. Try to keep the clips to a few minutes in length and around 10-20megs in size.

Colour correction of underwater video has come along way. Here is an example of 4 x 1440/1080 HDV m2t clips with colour correction added and all 4 tracks slowed down 50%. It was done in EDIUS on a core2QUAD and the quad CPU managed it all in realtime...that is no rendering to make it play in realtime.

Here is a short clip showing 4 different types of video formats edited together on a timeline which still played back in realtime using EDIUS. The video clips were playing from normal single SATA drives. Computer is a 2.4Ghz QUAD overclocked to run at 3.2 Ghz. CPU was hitting 83% when playing back the timeline.
