We recommend encoding out (FLASH) flv clips with a resolution size of 480//270, CBR 500-700kbps, 16.9 aspect ratio. For 4.3 clips, place then in a 16.9 timeline and encode them out as 480/270 16.9 aspect ratio or else they will be stretched to fill the 16.9 players screen. Try to keep the clips to a few minutes in length and around 10-20megs in size.

White Balancing HDV

Setting up the the correct White Balance is an art and even then there will be times were you have no time to re white balance for a certain shot. Here are some very quick before and after touch ups I did with EDIUS on some HDV. I also fixed up the vignetting on some of the shots. Its very easy and super quick to do.

Exmouth Gulf Aerials

Exmouth Gulf is one of the richest marine environments in Australia. It is a nursery for humpback whales, dugong and turtles. The mangrove systems on the eastern margins are areas of high primary productivity feeding and restocking both the Gulf and the famed nearby Ningaloo Reef. Its World Heritage values have already been identified, however the Gulf is currently under potential threat from a plan to build one of the world's biggest salt mines. please visit: www.halthesalt.org to help protect this Western Australian jewel. This was shot with a TRV 900 so it plays in 4.3.
